Situated between Rivers Ruarai and Chinga, Kiaguthu Factory lies in Nyeri County in the Central Kenyan region, consisting of 478 members. Averaging around 1 acre per farmer, their coffee is grown 1847m above sea level. Fully ripe cherries are hand-picked by the farm owners and family members and sent directly to the factory to be hand sorted, weighed, and pulped. The coffee is then dried and sent to the mill.
