ABOUT
Santa Catalina is a farm near the Acatenango volcano. This farm was named after an ancestor of the existing owner. Santa Catalina is 95 hectares in size, 70 of which are designated as a coffee plantation. The remaining 25 are designated as a natural forest reserve. Santa Catalina produces several varietals of coffee, including Bourbon, Caturra, Catuai, and Pache. This coffee is sent along to Finca Capetillo for wet and dry milling in order to take advantage of the infrastructure and expertise available there.
