This coffee is named for its washing station, Uraga, located in the Guji District of the Sidamo Zone. Coffee comes to the washing station from approximately 600 smallholder farmers in the area, with an average farm size of about two hectares. Well-drained soil and an ideal temperature for coffee production combine to deliver a bright, lively coffee.
