El Cabuyal is a 1 hectare specialty coffee farm in Aponte, Colombia.  Roberto Chasoy, owner of El Cabuyal, has been growing coffee for 10 years.  He also grows corn, cassava, beans and vegetables on his farm for his family’s consumption.  Roberto is part of the Inga Indigenous community of Aponte, likes to take part in local councils, and is considered a leader in the community of Paramo Bajo, a small part of Aponte.
