How did you start in coffee/tea?
I started as a barista at an awesome roastery here in NJ about 10 years ago now. It’s been a fun journey since then!
Favorite thing about the industry?
My favorite thing about the coffee industry is that anyone can be a part of it. It doesn’t matter where you come from or what your background is. It’s really a special for that reason — there is no “cool club”. We’re all working toward the same goal of supporting producers and sharing their stories together.
If you had control of RNY radio for the day (…without risk of any criticism/comments) what would you choose?
I would probably choose The Bats (NZ) for the radio. That song Block of Wood is pretty much perfect and I could listen to it on repeat for hours without getting bored.
