Whether it’s your first time working with Royal New York or your one hundredth, it’s important to know (and love!) what you’re ordering. In comes favoriting and sample requests! Learn how to easily find your favorites so you can order what you want, faster.

On the upper right corner of your screen, you’ll see a familiar icon: the sample box! When you first arrive to the website, it should be empty with options to Shop Coffee and Shop Tea. Let’s start by clicking “Shop Coffee.”
You’re now on our coffee offerings sheet! This will show you all coffees available in every warehouse, both instore and forward. If you’re looking specifically to sample, use our filters to select “Instore” under Position and “NJ” under Warehouse. You can also navigate directly to this page by using the “Shop NJ Offerings” quick link in the header!
Find an offering with 15 or more bags available, and hit “Request Sample” to add it to your sample box. You can choose either a green or roasted sample. Once you’ve selected an option, hit “Add to Sample Request.”
If you want to see more information about an offering before adding it to your sample box, visit the coffee’s product detail page! Samples can also be requested there.
You can add up to 4 offerings to your coffee sample box. When you’re ready to check out, head back on over to the sample box icon. We’ll remind you what samples you selected and how you wanted them. Don’t worry about purchasing—samples from Royal New York are always free! Just hit the “Submit Request” button, double check your address, and you’re all set.
Once your request goes through, you’ll receive an order confirmation as well as an email once it ships.
Now, let’s navigate to the All Tea Offerings page using the header quick links. Find an offering with 5lbs. or more available, and hit “Request Sample” to add it to your sample box. Remember: coffee and tea sample boxes can’t be combined, so make sure your coffee sample box is empty.
Like with coffee, you can also click on a tea for more details and add it to your sample request from there. Your tea sample box can hold up to 6 offerings, and each sample will be approximately 1oz.

Lastly, make sure to provide feedback after cupping your samples! You won’t be able to order more samples until you send us your feedback. To do this, go to the “Sample Requests” tab on your My Account page and rate each sample you recently received. This will help your trader become better aligned with your preferences.
See a product you like, want to purchase later, or have questions about? Add it to your favorites! This is a great way to keep track of what offerings you’ve previously enjoyed as well as those you want to save for later.
When you want to add an offering to your favorites, simply hit the star next to a product, either on an offerings page or a product detail page. This will allow you to be notified when your favorites are running out or are back in stock. Bonus: favoriting a forward coffee means you’ll be the first to know when it’s arrived instore!
If you ever want to find your favorites, head over to your My Account page and click the “Favorites” tab.
