We Stand with Ukraine

We stand with Ukraine. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ukrainian people during this unthinkable time of violence.  We feel it is our responsibility to do whatever we can to help.

With that said, we’ve made donations to the Red Cross, UNICEF and Save the Children as a starting place in doing whatever we can to help support those impacted by this violence.

Information on these powerful organizations and links for additional resources are below if you feel inclined to learn more and/or donate.

Ukraine & The Red Cross

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

The Red Cross teams are working tirelessly to help people and communities impacted by conflict. Around the clock, teams are providing emergency aid amid fear and uncertainty. Over the past week in Ukraine, Red Cross teams have:

– Distributed more than 90,000 food and hygiene parcels to families on the move across Ukraine, including Maripol.
– Provided first aid training to more than 12,000 people in metro stations and bomb shelters.
– Delivered more than 32 tons of food, blankets, medicine, medical supplies, trauma kits and household items.
– Assisted with the evacuation of people with disabilities.
– Distributed critical care items to over 7,000 people seeking safety from shelling in bomb shelters.

Ukraine & Save the Children

Save the Children believes every child deserves a future.

They work every day to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. When crisis strikes and children are most vulnerable, they are among the first to respond and the last to leave. They do whatever it takes for children – every day and in times of crisis – transforming their lives and the future we all share.

7.5 million children from Ukraine are caught in the crossfire of war. Save the Children is committed to helping provide children and families with immediate aid, such as food, water, hygiene kits, psychosocial support and cash assistance. Together, we can protect children in crisis, learn more about how to donate here.
