Elsa Dinora Ventura Sagastume is the second generation owner of El Venado, a 12 hectare specialty coffee farm that has been in the Sagastume family for nearly 40 years.  Located in El Playon, Honduras, El Venado features a special microclimate.  At 1400 meters above sea level, the farm is surrounded by forest and receives abundant sunlight and moderate rainfall. 

During harvest, El Venado employs up to 30 people with an additional 5 people that are permanent staff.  Nelso Ulloa is one permanent staff member with over 30 years of experience in coffee growing.
