Fabio Artunduaga is a first-generation coffee producer that has owned his farm, La Esperanza, since 1987. La Esperanza is a beautiful specialty coffee farm located between two mountains 1700 meters above sea level. This twenty-hectare coffee farm is in the town of Pitalito in the Huila region of Colombia. Fabio is proud to manage the daily operations of La Esperanza and employs up to ten additional employees during the harvest.
This anaerobic honey processed lot was Fabio is committed to learning new processing methods and is currently testing anaerobic fermentation of the cherry. This lot is an anaerobic honey that Fabio fermented in mucilage for 24 to 36 hours, depending on the weather.
