Tanzania Kirua Vunjo comes to us from a group of small holder specialty coffee farmers in Moshi, Tanzania. Kirua Vunjo was established in 1994 and currently has 499 members, 427 male and 52 female. These specialty coffee farms are located an average of 1644 meters above sea level, at the borders of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The specialty coffee farms benefit from the rich, fertile, volcanic soil and microclimate in this location, allowing them to produce organic coffee without the use of any fertilizers.
