Maria Emita Garcia has been a member of COOPAFSI since March 2012. She is a young and enthusiastic producer of the San Pedro Committee, in San Ignacio, Cajamarca. She is married with a 5 year old son. Maria decided to join the cooperative following the example of her father, Modesto García, who is one of the first members of COOPAFSI. She likes to participate in all technical workshops and has found that selective harvesting, of good varieties, is the correct way to obtain quality coffee and separate her micro lots.
