ABOUT
At the age of 18 Don Alfonso started planting his on his first farm "Finca Emmanuel". He planted nearly a thousand coffee plants. Don Alfonso always had a clear vision: to produce and sell high quality coffees. To ensure high quality lots he planted varietals that met special quality characteristics such as Pacas and Catuaí. His project grew over time and together with his family they have a set of farms called "Finca Emmanuel"; all with different heights, profiles and climates, which gives a unique and exquisite touch to your coffee. The degree of responsibility has grown due to the implementation since of organic agriculture in 2012. This family has received training from the COMSA cooperative, which led to implementing new technologies. Finca Emmanuel also has poultry, pigs and cattle, as well as many vegetables, for family consumption and sale. Vegetable waste and animal manure are used for the manufacture of fertilizers. Don Alfonso also has an apiary, multiple fruit trees and sugar cane.
