This coffee comes to us from the Arrayanes sub-municipality in Pitalito, Huila, Colombia. It is produced by members of the ASOBOMBO association, which has approximately sixty members. The average farm size is about four hectares and contains about 20,000 trees. The Caturra and Colombia varietals are most commonly produced, and coffee is dried on raised beds under plastic tents after being washed. This coffee also undergoes a 24-hour fermentation process to bring out more complexity in the cup.
