Grown at elevations between 1500 and 2500 meters above sea level, this tea benefits from cooler temperatures and consistent rainfall-- such conditions contribute to the tea's remarkable flavor and quality. It is carefully handpicked and cultivated without the use of pesticides and stands out due to its purplish pigment due to its high anthocyanin content, which is an antioxidant also found in superfoods such as blueberries. This tea has a gentle astringency and subtle tasting notes of apricot and walnut skin.
