Gura Wetmill is located in Nyeri County in Central Kenya and is part of the larger Othaya Farmers Co-operative Society, which consists of 18 farms. The wetmill spans along the banks of Gura River and they use its water to pulp coffee. Their coffee undergoes a fully washed process after being hand-picked and delivered to the Gura Coffee factory where they are hand sorted, weighed, pulped, and fermented. After being washed, the cherries are sundried on raised beds, and hand-sorted for a second time before being delivered to the dry mill for grading and bagging.
