Java Estate Jampit AWP-1X

The Java Estate Jampit lot is sourced from the Jampit Estate, which is located on the island of Java in Indonesia. Coffee was first cultivated in Java in the 17th century in low-lying areas, but was largely destroyed in the 19th century by coffee leafe rust. New coffee production was started in the highlands, where the high altitude and volcanic soil provide ideal growing conditions. The Jampit Estate was established by the Dutch in the 18th century, and is now run by the government. Unlike most processing from Indonesia, the coffee from Jampit is fully washed, which gives the coffee a clean, balanced profile.
