ABOUT
In the northwest region of Siguatepeque, Honduras, COHORSIL, a co-op created by small farmers in the region, produces Cerro Azul, a SHG coffee grown in this tropical mountain area. At an altitude of over 1,350 meters, the exotic environment possesses excellent conditions for producing high quality coffee. From various collection centers around the area, COHORSIL gathers coffee cherries from individual farmers. The co-op performs all the processing under strict quality control, in order to satisfy their customers and derive increased benefits for the producers at the same time. The Cerro Azul showcases the character of Honduran Coffee and the high quality being produced from this region.
