This honey processed lot comes to us from Roberto Trejos, a 75-year-old coffee producer from Buesaco, Nariño. Roberto has been growing coffee for 9 years on his 4-hectare farm, Patio Bonito. Located at approximately 2113masl, the farm is also home to Roberto’s yucca, plantain, and banana plants.
At Patio Bonito, Roberto’s production process is meticulous. Once picked, the cherries are pulped for two days, left to rest overnight, and then washed the following day. This method reflects his dedication to maintaining the quality of his coffee and ensures that each batch meets the highest standards.
Roberto is an example of commitment and experience in the coffee world, and his family plays a fundamental role in maintaining the coffee-growing tradition in his community.
