Luis Agreda has grown coffee with his wife and children on their farm, Finca Bella Vista, for six years, the last two as part of Pergamino’s allied producer program. Like many other small producers in Buesaco, Luis and his family were able to grow coffee on their 3-hectare farm in Alta Clara once their central government regained control of the region. Nearly a decade later, the area that was once the center of armed conflict is now full of small coffee producers like Luis.
