Started in 1958, Ngugu-Ini Coffee Factory is located in Kirinyaga County in the central Kenyan region and is part of the larger Kibirigwi Farmers’ Cooperative Society. Their cooperative consists of about 1200 farmers, and their coffee is grown at altitudes between 1600-1650m above sea level. Cherries are hand-picked and immediately delivered to the wetmill to be sorted, pulped, washed, and dried.
