Burundi Ngozi Rugabo comes to us from a group of 570 small holder specialty coffee farmers in Rugabo Hill, Burundi.  These specialty coffee farms, located an average of 1695 meters above sea level, all deliver their ripe cherries to the Rugabo Washing Station.  Once the specialty coffee farmers deliver the ripe cherries to the washing station, they are sorted and floated before moving on to processing.  Rugabo washing station was established in 1986 and was named after the hill it’s located on.
