El Panal, or "The Honeycomb," is a natural lot from Vides Farms in La Libertad, Huehuetenango, grown between 1,350–1,650 masl. Just as a honeycomb gathers drops of nectar to create something extraordinary, El Panal was produced by combining the richness of volcanic soils, the dedication of its farmers, and a slow, natural drying process that preserved every layer of flavor.

To create this lot, cherries are handpicked and left to pre-ferment for 36 hours before being floated and sorted at the wet mill. The coffee then dries on the patio for 16 days and is turned frequently in the first half and less toward the end. Founded in 1958 by Jorge Vides, this lot carries forward a legacy built on vision, purpose, and a passion for Guatemalan coffee.
