Join Us – Support Grounds for Health this Giving Tuesday!

At Royal New York, we’re longtime supporters and anchor donors for Grounds for Health, a non-profit that brings life-saving healthcare to women in coffee-growing communities. That’s why this Giving Tuesday, we’re excited to spotlight their inspiring work and invite you to join us in supporting them.

All About Grounds for Health

Grounds for Health, an international non-profit, actively works to prevent cervical cancer in coffee communities. Since 1996, they’ve partnered with the coffee industry to implement high-quality, locally-based screenings and treatment programs for women at origin.

Although cervical cancer is nearly 100% preventable, a woman still dies from it every two minutes, most often in low-income communities with limited access to screening and care. Grounds for Health has screened and treated tens of thousands of women since their founding, providing access to care that would otherwise be out of reach. Their efforts have made, and continue to make, an enormous difference.

Support Grounds for Health – Join #GfHWeek

This Giving Tuesday, we’re encouraging our community to join us in supporting Grounds for Health by taking part in #GfHWeek. This international week of fundraising and awareness for women’s health in coffee-growing communities kicks off on March 8th, 2026—International Women’s Day!

When you register for #GfHWeek, you join a community of coffee shops across the country who believe in farmers’ health at origin. Grounds for Health will feature you on their website and in their national press campaign. They will also highlight your fundraising results and celebrate your hard work at the end of the week!

The $50 registration fee provides you with the materials you need to tell the story of Grounds for Health. From there, you can choose how you want to raise funds during the week. They find donating proceeds from a featured drink, a special event, or a round-up campaign to be the most successful. If you have other ideas, they’re happy to partner with you on those as well! Every contribution, big or small, can help. Donations go directly toward cervical cancer screenings, treatments, community health education, and training local health providers.
