Sitio Ponte Nova is owned by Mr. Joao Pereira, who has been producing yellow catuai for over fifteen years. He lives with his wife Regina and their two sons. They work hard to produce 200 bags per year. During harvesting seasons, they work hard from 4am with little time to rest. “Small growers like us, need to rely on neighbors to help us in harvesting season. Good quality needs good care and we have to work hard to keep up. We hope to keep on improving quality and we are very happy to know our coffee is available in North America. That’s motivating.”
