Iced Chai Latte with Vanilla Ginger Cold Foam

iced chai latte

Ingredients

For the latte:

6g Masala Chai
55g water at 195°F
Dairy or plant-based milk of choice

For the cold foam:

6g Organic Ginger
40g water at 212°F
4 tbsp heavy whipping cream
1–2 tbsp vanilla syrup

Directions

1. Steep Masala Chai for 5 minutes in 55g of water.
2. Once brewing is complete, strain out the tea leaves and pour remaining tea over ice.
3. Top with milk of choice until almost at the top of the glass.
4. To make your cold foam, steep Organic Ginger in 40g of boiling water for 5 minutes.
5. Once brewing is complete, strain out the tea leaves. Let it cool to room temperature or run it through ice and separate once cool. If it’s too hot, your whipping cream won’t thicken.
6. Combine your ginger concentrate, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla syrup. Blend with a milk frother until desired consistency is reached.
7. Pour over latte and serve!
